About Me

I am Keesha Edwards, my desire to coach exercise and weight loss came shortly after having three children
When my youngest was 18 months old and a little less dependent on mummy, I made the decision that it was time to start exercising regularly. Back then, I didn't have the love for exercise that I do now - so I simply did:
- 10 squats, 10 kneeling push-ups, 10 sit-ups...
And that was it!
I did this every day for about 4-6 weeks, until I had the motivation to increase the reps to: 15 squats, 6 standard push-ups, 15 sit-ups.
Now, just a few years on from the exercise novice I was back then - when I'm pushed for time, I'll do a quick:
- 20 squats
- 10 standard push-ups
- 40 Russian twists (my current favourite ab exercise!)

My Weight Loss Journey

I lost over 20kg within 24 months.

The biggest shift came when I changed what I ate. I made small, manageable adjustments to my diet each month and checked in with how I felt three weeks into each change.
I can confidently say that I'm more mindful of what I eat than how much I exercise - and my "real food" mindset has truly changed my life.

What's "Real Food"?

By real food, I mean food that looks as close to its natural form as possible. For example, an apple still looks like an apple whether it's on the tree or sitting in the fruit and veg section of the supermarket.
A general rule I use is:
"If it's in a package and it's not packaged just to hold a large quantity, then it's a treat."
And we all know we can't survive - nor thrive - on treats alone.

What to Expect Working With Me

When we work together, a big part of our journey will be igniting a love of good, whole food - because real food is medicine. It promotes life, vitality, and energy.
And that's a real treat, in my opinion!

Why I Do This

I raise my three young children alone. I have school runs, nursery runs, bedtime routines, morning routines, spellings and homework, hair to braid, and breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks to prepare - which you may have too!
So I believe it is our responsibility to keep ourselves feeling good, mobile, and active - so that we can lead our families.
Prioritising our vitality is our duty. We owe it to ourselves to look after the one body that we've been blessed with.
Your body is the mechanism you use to interact with your loved ones and your environment - so let's give it the treatment it deserves.

My Ethos
"Physical activity should be an enjoyable part of your everyday life. Let's create a new mindset which prioritises your fitness and wellbeing, a mindset where you love to eat well and Love To Be Active." - Keesha (Fitness Trainer)
Women I help
I coach busy Women and Mothers who manage businesses, families, and a host of responsibilities. As a busy mother of three young children naturally I can relate to your time constrained dynamic lifestyle - which we will work around
Why I Coach
I have been there over worked, over weight, and overwhelmed when I began prioritising my wellbeing, eating well, and seeing any opportunity to walk, run, lift, bend, stretch as a benefit instead of a chore. I lost weight, toned up, and started embracing longevity as opposed to quick fixes.
